About Us
He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.” - John 21:17

Our Mission
We believe every student has a future worth investing in. Our mission is rooted in the words of Jesus: "Feed my sheep." This calling inspires us to care deeply, not just about grades, but about the whole person. We exist to guide, support, and empower the next generation through academic excellence and personal growth.
We are committed to guiding and equipping the next generation through personalized academic support, college preparation, career development, and mentorship. Our goal is to help students discover their strengths, clarify their purpose, and move forward with confidence.
At NextGen, tutoring is more than helping with homework or preparing for a test. It is about cultivating minds, nurturing hearts, and walking alongside students as they step into the future they were created for
because their future matters.

Brayden Day
Founder & Tutor
About Me
I’m Brayden Day, an engineer by training, a teacher by passion, and a mentor at heart. I’m the founder of NextGen Tutoring and a passionate educator with a deep love for all things STEM. After earning my degree in mechanical engineering from Boise State University, I began my career in the HVAC industry, where I currently work in preconstruction services—designing systems, managing projects, and solving complex technical challenges. I love helping students build confidence in subjects like math, physics, and engineering. With a practical, down-to-earth approach, I strive to connect academic concepts to real-world applications, making learning both engaging and relevant.
My passion for mentorship is rooted in my own life story. In high school, I faced personal challenges that required me to grow up quickly—experiencing family struggles, long stretches of independence, and the absence of consistent support at home. What made the difference for me were the mentors and role models who believed in me, encouraged me, and helped me see a future beyond my circumstances. I would not be where I am today without the people who stepped in and believed in me when things felt like they were falling apart. My hope through tutoring is not just to help students improve their grades—but to be that encouraging voice, that steady presence, and that reminder that their future is still full of possibility.
Through NextGen Tutoring, I’m committed to supporting students academically, but more importantly, personally. Walking with them as they discover their strengths, unlock their potential, and pursue a meaningful future.
